The Following refresher courses are considered Level III courses and are designed for those who are currently Level II or III and are looking to become an ASNT Level III or to maintain their Level III status.

NDT Basic Course
Duration: 8 day
Course Content:

•    Recommended Practice No. SNT-TC-1A
•    ANSI/ASNT CP-189
•    The various programs that establish the criteria for NDT personnel certification and identify the differences between these programs
•    The general theory and operation of the 11 various NDT methods listed in Recommended Practice No. SNT-TC-1A
•    Various types of materials processing, fabrication and product technology
•    The basics of metal processing

Ultrasonic Testing (UT)
Duration: 5 day
Course Content:

•    The basic principles and theory relating to Ultrasonic Testing
•    The classes of equipment and materials commonly used in UT
•    Responses typically encountered during the performance of Ultrasonic Testing application
•    How procedural requirements are extracted from specifications and standards

Radiography Testing (RT)
Duration: 5 day
Course Content:

•    The basic principles and theory relating to RT
•    The classes of equipment and materials commonly used in RT
•    Responses typically encountered during the performance of Radiographic Testing application
•    How procedural requirements are extracted from specifications and standards
•    Safety and health considerations relating to RT

Magnetic Particle (MT)
Duration: 2 day

Liquid Penetrant (PT)
